This Wetherspoon public house was once farmland until it was developed onto private housing, shortly after the pub was built in 1955. The frontage of the building is very symmetrical with the fascia having detailed plaster work around the windows and doors.

The scope of works for the project was to make the pub feel more welcoming to clientele, to utilise the outdoor drinking areas more, and generally smarten the frontage to give more curb side appeal.

In order to achieve this, we kept the details on the fascia but gave the whole front a new colourway. We chose a deep blue and off-white finish and applied it to each window frame and doors, this gave the whole pub a fresh and smart look. We added in faux grass areas in between the new paving stones which softened the area for families wanting to sit outside with children.

We introduced some complimentary coloured dining furniture, umbrellas, large planters, and a pergola, all of which helped give us that welcoming feeling for guests.

The addition of the festoon lighting across the whole frontage has given the garden area and pub the street presence we wanted to gain.
