This Wetherspoon public house is a grade II* listed building, formerly known as a Corn Exchange, built in 1850.

Our design focused on modernising all customer areas and upgrading the back of house areas to improve operations for the staff.

Works included new flooring throughout, full internal redecoration, new artworks and bric-a-brac, entrance lobby doors, glass rack storage, toilet redecoration, extensive back bar modifications, kitchen refurbishment, external signage and creating a new staffroom with staff welfare facilities.

As with all Wetherspoon project’s, elements are subtly designed around the building’s history such as the bespoke glass racks and carpet and implemented sensitively to preserve original features and maintain a traditional style.
